Eero Saarinen’s masterpiece, the TWA Flight Center at JFK airport. This building is a mid century jewel, a beautiful yet functional building that served as a terminal until 2001. The dynamic, endlessly curving shapes, the mid-century style, the instant evocation of an era when travel was a luxury – it was all there. 

I admired the way Saarinen layered his curved structures: the upper balcony, the curved tunnel like passageway and the railings rising up to the mezzanine. Add the bright red TWA logo and the whole is a study in visual design.

Prints are available on archival matte or UltraHD glossy surfaces. Also available are UltraHD prints on Aluminum Dibond that are ready to hang.
