Gas Stations - Mojave Desert
Once the Interstate Highways came through California the old highways fell prey to the desert. From the famous Rt 66 to the south along the Salton Sea and old Rt 10. The gas stations lingered longer than most buildings, but even they started to disappear. Most of these stations have been left to decay even further.
