Antoni Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece in the heart of Barcelona, Spain. The size and grandeur of the interior took my breath away. I could not stop looking up. By the end of the day my neck felt like it was wrenched off my shoulders! The vast illuminated interior has tree-like columns supporting the vaults, reaching up to the heavens. The intricate details are like no other cathedral in the world, it is simply beautiful and grand. The central nave is 300 feet long and 148 feet high. Construction began in 1882 and still continues today. The interior was largely finished in 2010, these images are from 2011 to 2014.
